I like to call myself a hobby photographer.

It is quite common for people who, like me, have jobs that are challenging for the mind but not so much for the body, to miss "doing something" with their hands. I think photography is clearly my escape: holding a camera in my hands, operating its buttons, levers and wheels to match the picture in my head, and finally, pressing the shutter, fills my need for handicraft.

I started using a digital camera back in 2003. In 2005 I started using a dSLR. After 5 years and two dSLRs, I discovered the incomparable joy of taking pictures with vintage film cameras.

I am eager to see where is my journey leading to...
